The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to kick off the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations starting tomorrow, February 15. Students are reminded to carry their CBSE admit cards and arrive at their exam centers well in advance, with reporting times set at 9:45 am for the 10:30 am exams.
Class 10 exams will initiate with painting, Rai, Gurung, Tamang, and Sherpa papers, scheduled till 12:30 pm. Meanwhile, Class 12 exams will cover physical activity trainer, entrepreneurship, kokborok, and capital market operation papers, extending till 1:30 pm.
In a first, students with Type-1 Diabetes are permitted to bring chocolates, fruits, and snacks to the exam center, albeit in transparent pouches, as per a CBSE notice from February 8.
To combat misinformation, CBSE has cautioned against rumors and fake news regarding the board exams, releasing a list of fake handles impersonating CBSE on social media platforms.
According to the CBSE 2024 datasheet, Class 10 exams are scheduled to conclude on March 13, while Class 12 exams will end on April 2.
