The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension in the registration dates for the UGC NET 2024 examination, providing a crucial opportunity for aspiring candidates. Interested candidates can now visit the official website of the UGC NET to complete their application process.
The last date for submission of online applications has been extended to May 15, 2024. Applicants are advised to ensure timely submission, with the deadline set at 11:59 pm on the specified date. Additionally, the window for submitting examination fees through various online modes, including Credit card/Debit card/Net banking/UPI, is scheduled from May 16 to May 17, 2024.
Moreover, candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections in their application forms from May 18 to May 20, 2024, providing a chance to rectify any errors or inaccuracies.
Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), shared the update on X, highlighting the extension of the deadline for online submission of application forms for UGC – NET June 2024 to May 15. He extended his best wishes to all the applicants in their endeavors.

NTA will conduct the UGC-NET for 83 subjects in OMR (Pen and Paper) mode.
