In a spirited display of devotion and community engagement, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the much-anticipated “Cultural Festival” in the state from the sacred precincts of Kainchidham in Nainital on Sunday. The event unfolded with a call to action, urging citizens to join a collective cleanliness campaign at Kainchidham and the revered Ghorakhal temple.

Commencing the festival with a profound gesture, Chief Minister Dhami took it upon himself to clean the Shri Ram Shila in Kainchi Dham, followed by heartfelt prayers. His participation extended to the Shri Ram Bhajan program held within the Kainchi Dham temple complex, adding a spiritual touch to the cultural festivities.

Prior to the inauguration, Chief Minister Dhami sought blessings at Kainchi Dham’s Neeb Karori Baba shrine, offering prayers for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the state. He also distributed Prasad to devotees who flocked to Kainchidham, while actively engaging with visitors from different states, seeking their feedback on the government’s performance.

Expressing appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the Prayavaran Mitras involved in the cleanliness campaign, Chief Minister Dhami took the opportunity to interact with them. Noteworthy contributions did not go unnoticed, as school children, self-help groups, village heads, and Prayavaran Mitras were honored and recognized with citations.

Highlighting a significant upcoming event, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami shared that January 22nd would mark a historic day, with the ceremonial seating of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. This auspicious occasion is set to resonate across the country, signifying the end of a prolonged wait for devotees.

Emphasizing the global recognition achieved by Kainchi Dham, Chief Minister Dhami revealed plans for a comprehensive master plan that anticipates the needs of the next five decades. The increasing influx of devotees to Kainchi Dham prompted the government to strategize for enhanced facilities and services.
